BREAK THE PATTERN.
MARCEL VAN ZWIETEN
AI transformation for businesses ready to work smarter and grow.
AI changes what’s possible. The question is what you do with it.
The challenge
Many businesses see AI’s potential but get stuck in experiments, manual work and fragmented processes. There is testing, but it never lands in how the work gets done every day.
The opportunity
I help prioritise opportunities and turn AI into an approach that works in practice. First get clear on where AI really pays off, then build what works, so it becomes part of the daily work.

My belief? AI doesn't just change what businesses can do. It changes what people are capable of. When people truly embrace AI, they can become 10 to 20 times more productive on certain tasks.
That's what I help businesses achieve. Not just automating processes, but rethinking how organizations work. Moving people from doing the work to directing it. So technology does the work, and people make the difference.

AI Strategy
Know where to start.
“Everyone is experimenting with AI, but there is no plan, no owner and no view of what it delivers.”
What I do
- Map and prioritise the opportunities together with leadership.
- Choose one achievable first project, with scope, ownership and conditions such as data, privacy and cost.
- A plan you can explain to your team and stakeholders.
You getClear direction and a concrete first step.
Agentic Processes
From manual work to working AI workflows.
“Your team loses hours to recurring work: finding information, moving it, drafting, coordinating.”
What I do
- Analyse and redesign one labour-intensive process.
- Build an AI-supported workflow or agent that connects to your systems, with people in control.
- Test with the people who use it first, scale up after.
You getA working process, not a presentation.
AI Marketing & Growth
New growth with AI.
“You want more from marketing, content and customer contact, without losing your brand.”
What I do
- Apply AI to content, campaigns and brand consistency.
- Prototypes of new AI-driven customer experiences or services.
- Growth workflows your team keeps using on its own.
You getMore capability and new ways to grow.
Not sure which one fits? Or have an idea you want to build? That's what the first conversation is for.
Built. Not just imagined.
Working solutions. Real applications.
Built on experience.

Questions I often get.
Where should I start with AI in my business?
Start by identifying where AI could create meaningful value for your business, rather than choosing tools. I look at your processes, people and ambitions. Where is valuable time being lost? What could work better? What new possibilities could emerge? From there, I help identify one practical starting point with a clear scope, owner and approach. The goal is a manageable first step, not an endless series of experiments.
What can AI actually deliver for my business?
AI can help your business operate more efficiently, empower employees and create new opportunities for growth. That could mean less manual work, better decisions or entirely new services and customer experiences. But I look beyond saving time. Sometimes the biggest opportunity comes from questioning how your business operates today. Rather than simply doing the same work faster, I explore what your business could do differently.
Which business processes can I automate with AI?
Processes involving repetitive information gathering, processing, checking or transferring are often good candidates for AI automation. Examples include administration, reporting, customer communications and marketing operations. I look beyond individual tasks to redesign the entire workflow. AI agents can carry out multiple steps across existing systems, while employees remain responsible for important decisions. The aim is to move people from performing every task to directing how work gets done.
Can you build custom AI solutions for my business?
Yes, I design and build AI solutions tailored to your business, processes and ambitions. That might be an automated workflow, an AI agent connected to existing systems or an entirely new application. My background in strategy, creative thinking and technology allows me to look beyond standard tools. I focus on solutions that make practical business sense, combining what is technically possible with what would genuinely improve your organisation.
How do you make sure employees actually adopt AI?
Successful AI adoption starts with helping employees understand and experience how the technology improves their work. I involve the people who use a process every day in designing and testing the solution. My approach is about increasing human capability, not removing people from the equation. Less time spent on repetitive tasks means more room for expertise, creativity and judgement. People move from doing every task themselves to directing the work.
How does an AI project work, and when can I expect results?
I start with a clearly defined problem and a specific outcome worth achieving. First, I examine the opportunity, existing processes and practical constraints. Then I design and, where appropriate, build an initial working solution. I test it with the people who will use it before considering a wider rollout. Timing depends on complexity, available data and existing systems. I establish the scope, delivery plan and expectations before starting.
How do you protect business data and ensure GDPR compliance?
Data protection and privacy should be built into an AI solution from the beginning. I consider which information is needed, which systems are involved, who has access and what risks exist. Relevant GDPR requirements and human oversight are part of that assessment. Not every AI tool is appropriate for confidential business information, and compliance cannot be assumed. The necessary safeguards depend on your specific use case.
How much does it cost to implement AI in my business?
The investment depends on what you want to achieve and the complexity of the solution. I prefer clearly defined projects, so you understand the deliverables and costs before work begins. Exploring an AI opportunity requires a different investment from building a workflow connected to multiple business systems. During an initial conversation, I assess your needs and help determine a suitable approach.
